After College
After college I plan on going to university to study Illustration but I would need to look further into what kind of universities I am looking for and wither or not it suits me.

Illustration course open day booked:

29th October after noon.
During my research on finding a good university for illustration Falmouth came up, Its a university with a good reputation and it stuck out to me more because of the department.
I did further research into this uni through youtube and came across a few artists who recently graduated and went straight into a working field doing what they enjoyed.
One artists stated that the university cause helped her on her feet as once she left she was only commissioned for a while then was asked to work for a educational book company where they would make pop up books for young children to explore creativity and to learn.

Also another key feature to this is the university is far from home so I will become independent and be able to explore a new place which is what I wanted.
My first pick before I went to college was to go to London UAL and go to the colleges and study there. The main idea that appealed to be for this was that the university was in London as I really wanted to study within a city. I soon learnt that the university wasn't really for me but I will still reconsider as the area is local and I know my way around.

My main issue about Falmouth university is that the travel to the university (even with discounts) Is quiet expensive. just to go to the open day alone is around about £100+ by train, £60+ by coach. The discount is around about 20% off and yet with that I still find it hard to make it down there. So due to this I might have to reconsider.
