Construction: Building something, creating something which may take steps and alot of planning
Deconstruction: The oppersit of construction, This is about destorying and taking apart work which can be organized or a complete unorganized adventure.
Chrysalis: a transitional state.
Renovation: To repair and improve something. (often about buildings.
Reclamation: returning something back to its former shape/ condition. (state of being reclaimed)
Proposal:
My purpose is to firstly explore different areas on Contruction and Deconstruction through different medias such as graphic design, 3D and textiles. With this I want to try different ways to visulize and illistrate these keywords but also use them during the progress to create something new and beautiful.
For this I will research artists for these areas, for 3D I aim to look at artists who create sculptures that make works that are aimed around the human form, constructing and then deconstructing. For textiles I want to look towards texture, and methoreds such as stenciles and sewing to creating contrast with texture and visual distruction. For Graphic design I aim to explore DADA where deconstruction is a huge role with construct which would be intresting to explore as the whole idea of DADA is to rebel and to make fun of a statement.
For this project I plan on involving my past project about research. I aim to use the research and the final out come to deconstruction it and construct together a new final piece with the methords I have explored in this project to form a final outcome.
My goals for this is to fully take advantage of the keywords. How i will achieve this is to do research on artists within the theme and outside to make the ideas wide and explore methoreds that would make my final works.
The resources avaliable and that I will use for this project is my sketchbook, which I will use to experiment and draw observational drawings. I will also explore colours and textures through this. I will use Wix, to store and organized my progress to give this journey chapters.
The peperation for this was through a research sketchbook I've created and a few final outcomes that I will bring into this and deconstruct them.

Action Plan
(1.1)To be able to pass this project I will need to have a large amount of primary, secondary research overall investigation to support and help me develop ideas(1.2). I will do research into events I want to base my artwork around such as for DADA i would like to make a bold statement about the clown situation which is happening in america and making its way slowly world wide and mock it. I will do research about this in the research page and heavy involve it in my planning and evaluation and reflection.
with the research done Hopefully my ideas will develop and this could be of some use to my other areas such as print and 3D.

To make my primary research stronger I will take pictures and notes of everything that inspires me, draw it or take any evidence of it and involve it with my project. It will make it stronger and show how independent my work will be which could possible link to a higher grade. (1.3)

(2.2)The shoes were just an example of construction and deconstruction but I would like to involve this somehow into the final piece and with this I plan on drawing every progress the shoes go through from pre-deconstruction to post-deconstruction., to illustrate its journey and evaluate and take note of the errors and learn from this, solve the problem.

(2.3)For my sketchbook I will show progress of ideas, draw the evolution of the shoes from observational drawings to ideas and space plan of the shoes so this can intertwine in with the research to back my ideas up significantly. In this also I want to involve planning and rough ideas of test works or experimentation.
(3.2) reflect the day and go into detail about what I have learnt about in that lesson, how can that help me with my project in any way through research or further experimentation. I will involve this on the reflection page along with any events I have gone too/ primary research journeys such as to an art gallery and reflect on that.
What are the characteristics of each part of this project?
The characteristic of the project would involve 3D sculpture that would involved collage/photo cut out and mixed media. To create a larger idea with these characteristics which have strong linkage to the key words.
What do you intend to create at the end of the project?
I want to create an overall journey of the work, A 3D sculpture that will have illustrated work within it which involves the following artists which have inspired me: Sarah Eisenlohr, brian dettmer and Koji Takei. I want to keep in mind during this project that I would like to create something which has a strong link with these artists.

What do you want to specialize in for the rest of the year and why?
This year I want to focus and specialize on Illustration as that is something I want to study further after college. This work is something I am strong at and would enjoy to venture more and explore different ways to involve the techniques from this area into others such as photograph ect.
What are the characteristics of this specialism which you need to conciser/ practice?
The characteristics is 3D/ sculpture and Mixed media. These areas I am weak at because I find it difficult to construct a 3D sculpture and a work within the Mixed media with a plan as these characteristics are harder to make with order
How will you make sure you are able to complete this?
I will involve both of those characteristics in my project and for the outcome to help me formalize with them.
Will you need addition help or extra resources to complete this

I think I will need help oh a rough idea on what to do, after this I will solve the problem I am at and continue working and developing the idea, the situation into the work.

Who and what inspired you to follow this specialism?
​
An artists that for the past 4-5 years I have been admiring. Michelle Czajkowski, She is an illustrator, her earlier work is more fantasy based which is digital art. She inspired me to began digital art and has taken note of my work recently. She has been through several jobs involving her art work and she has worked at dreamwork animation studio and created/ designed the characters for the movie 'Home' but as of now she is a comic book artist writing a story which is well known for the art style alone.

What course do you intend to do at university and how will your specialism help this?
​
I intend to study illustration at university, and hope it will help me put more personality into my work as well as develop my own unique style.

How has this project made you realise this?
​
This project helped me realize how the keywords deconstruction and construction is a better form of taking apart and analyzing the situation and creating something with the materials. This helped me realize how much i enjoy studying something have it be a situation or an object and thinking up ways to recreate it to a statement. It helped me think about how i could do this in 2D forms and during my Mixed media piece i thought about reusing old artworks to create something new.
