My first problem was these shoes, They were observational drawing and they weren't eye catching and I've experimented with pen beforehand. I thought about adding in acrylic so I got out white and yellow and just filled in areas which would seem
This observational painting was unsuccessful, It was a drawing of the shoes destroyed, it didn't turned out exciting so I thought about making it abstract or looking nothing to how it originally was. I then thought about cutting up the work and placing it back together in an order which makes it unrecognizable. I think this turned the work into what I was aiming for, something exciting! It makes the audience focused more in the detail on each swear then try to understand what the image is meant to be.
I'd like to take this experiment into a experimental work with collective experiments around the theme of construction and deconstruction.
This work is another painting of shoes observational and it was also not very exciting, so I wanted to explore it more like I did with the latter work. I cut it up into squares but more into large squares so the shoes where visually shoes. After sticking them together they didn't seem out standing or like I've explored it enough.

I found some old shoelaces and I thought about putting them into this piece. I first thought about sewing it through the shoes to give it a 3D textured feeling to it but I couldn't risk harming the work behind this on the other page within my sketchbook. I then glued the shoe laces down and then tried to contrast the colours on the laces to the shoes itself.

Final piece for mixed media, piece has cut outs on and needs to be stuck down to keep it in place.
I used masking tape to try and give the work an organic feeling to it. The work and pieces endded up falling off easily
sew down the worn with string, if that is too time consuming use glue.
Didnt have the ideal object, material for desired final piece,
use another object/ material that was on hand but ended up finding the desired object by the college.

I wasnt able to print off enough images to fill up a whole A1 sheet.
I used magazine images and such and tried to make use of what was around me and tried to turn the images into what i needed.
