Deconstructing shoes
After drawing the shoe and exploring the shoe visually it was time to take the shoe apart piece by piece. Deconstructing the shoe. It wasnt easy as some parts was gard to cut up but I managed to have a few parts to work with.
My plan is to explore these and hopefully move towards the final pieces with this. For the final piece i might involve these pieces to create a 2D imagine to try to reconstruct the shoe back together just like Koji Takei with his musical instruments.

I went into experimentation and tried to see and get a better idea of the surface area/ texture of the shoe through mod rock, I layered it over the top of the shoe and once it has set i took it off and was left with negative outcomes of the textured areas of the shoe.

Constructing & Deconstructing AI sheet
#Here I wanted to put together my from DADA, Alice kettle along with past research. I wanted to put together my sheets where I explored and experimented with deconstructing and constructing and my final outcome from my research project. Bringing two works together deconstructing them and then reconstructing them together.

Here I planned out my work, I placed besides it the cut up sheets of work and my final outcome into squares so i could stick them together and sew them which is inspired by Dada artists and by Alice kettle. The overal final piece I will be cutting up is this.

The idea was to keep the eyes visual and intact withe the cutting up progress. I plan on cutting the rest up into squares of different sizes to highlight the detail and to contrast with the surrounding area.
I plan to stick these down onto an A1 sheet with tape and then sew onto the work to create detailed designs and make the work stand out.
Here I started on the piece and I took apart the other work of mine and made the eyes the key piece of the work. The next action is to sew in patters and the paper together with red string, red string is sure to stand out on this work. I will experiment first to see what colour stands out.

Here I started to connect the pieces together by sewing them with bright red string. I mentioned using red string in this work but the issue that has approached was that the string wasn't visible so to solve this I might use thicker string or rope.

here i Used my stencil of one of my shoe drawings (i chose because it would looks more abstract and more fun to work with) and used wall filler to create work that stuck up. I first did it on black pieces of paper and the outcome was interesting I decided to put it onto my huge A1 sheet to add texture and height to the work.

Here is the finished piece, created from a past final piece from a research project. The work was cut up and stitched and tapes down to the sheet of paper with fabric and cut ups of print work i did. Then withe stencils of shoes over the top. I am overall happy with the outcome but if i could do anything to improve it would to ass more shoe artwork to the piece t give it a stringer link to the overall shoe deconstruction

Graphic Design

for this I had to create and A1 sheet that was a photo montage/ collage, I struggled to find images online that would be large enough to cover the while sheet, so I gathered images from magazines and started turning models into clowns and really mocking and making fun of the models by doodling over their face.

The overall originally plan was to create something inspired by Sarah Eisenlohr with landscape and clowns around the area scaring the audience, but it turned into a huge statement about how clowns are are everywhere and really with their roots they are harmless.

For this piece I really thought about "How can i make this silly and make no sense at all but also have a pattern to it" and I think I achieved it with throwing random words around and drawing over the top of the images.
Final Piece Planning

Here's the plan for the usage of the laptop I planned to deconstruct until I came across a better machine (a old 2000's television) The idea was to take apart the bottom part of the laptop while the top part was meant to be a 2D collage. The bottom part was going to be taken apart and replaced to make up random words.
I will link this idea with the new object I will be using for my final piece.

I found a television that I wanted to use in the first place for my final piece, With this I am able to do what I wanted in the first place instead of using the laptop. I had plans of what I wanted to do with it originally but now I made four designs for what I can do with this. The overall plan was to turn a photo montage/ collage into a 3D medium and also stick to the theme: clowns in the media around the time of the project.

the other three on the left is all about turning the television into a clown which would have been effective but was far from the originally plan and the intention. The design above was the closest to what I wanted this piece to show so that was the design I went with.
Once I had a plan I then deconstructed the television. I unscrewed the back and bit by bit took the inside out.

Once i took out the inside of the television i then cleaned the case/the shell of the computer so it was presentable and ready to be constructed into what I had planned; a sculpture/ installation that is set around the media at the time.
